Jamie Moyer began his career in 1986 with the Cubs and went on to throw over 4,000 MLB innings, most of them as a starter. He has pitched for the Chicago Cubs, Texas Rangers, St. Louis Cardinals, Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, Seattle Mariners, Philadelphia Phillies, and Colorado Rockies, winning a World Series ring with the Philadelphia Phillies in 2008. In 2013 he retired and joined the Phillies' television broadcast crew. He and his wife started the Moyer Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children in severe distress.
