DreamCatchers works to fulfill the final Dreams of hospice patients across the country, with a hope to renew the fading belief in happy endings. We intend to connect the youth to their local communities, as all DreamCatchers clubs are run by high school and college-age students working side-by-side their local hospices. These clubs then grant the final Dreams expressed by the hospice patients, those diagnosed with a terminal illness and given 6 months or less to live, which may range from a simple family reunion dinner at home to a hot air balloon ride or sailing excursion. Because the majority of hospice patients are elderly, DreamCatchers works to bridge generational gaps while also encouraging elevated attention to older generations, in a time when they are often overlooked by the same communities they have worked to build.
Help those complete their final dreams in life by donating to DreamCatchers today.
