Los Angelenos who love their organic food might want think about moving to India.

According to India Today, the small town of Sikkim has been declared a fully organic state.

India has a horrible track record when it comes to indiscriminate use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers. However, Pawan Chamling, the then Chief Minister of Sikkim, was wise enough to make a declaration in 2003 setting Sikkim on the path to organic paradise.

Now almost 13 years later, his vision and efforts have finally borne fruit.
