Patricia Arquette Wants to Empower You to Help Her Make Good on Her Bold Oscars Promise

Patricia Arquette laid down what will go down as one of the most stirring acceptance speeches in Oscar’s history.

But with her rousing call to address an uncomfortable truth comes the great responsibility of making it more than just words that echoed before a crowd in a theater.

She’s wasted no time making sure the world knows how seriously she takes that obligation.

Her first order of business Monday was to roll out a humanitarian experience on Chideo that you can be a part of.

It’s called the “Give Love to Those Who Need it Most Experience,” and it’s a chance to join Arquette on a trip to visit one of her GiveLove charity’s development projects in Haiti or elsewhere in the world.

The goal is to inspire and empower fans to make an impact in the world and right the ails of inequality that so much of its inhabitants face. Entering the sweepstakes is a piece of cake and doesn’t require a fee or donation — though we highly suggest donating to GiveLove regardless of the outcome.

And in doing so, you might just find yourself being the agent of change you were meant to be.
