If you need an eye donation, hit up Sri Lanka.
According to the BBC, Sri Lanka has been supplying the world with corneas despite worldwide shortage.
And they’re not even doing it for any kind of reward — just a ton of karma points.
“If I donate my eyes in this life,” Viswani Pasadi, a student, told BBC. “I’ll have better vision in my next life.”
The BBC also reports that at least one in five Sri Lankans have pledge to donate their corneas when they die.
The Sinhalese gives a new meaning to “an eye for an eye.”
